DIY Snowflake Tutorial!!

Hey y’all!!

Today’s post is a DIY snowflake tutorial! My friend, Ava, makes a lot of these so I asked her to show me how make it! Its super easy, and a great way to decorate for winter and Christmas!

***Disclaimer: these ideas where not mine, credit goes to Ava and whoever else came up with the idea.

So the first things you need to get together is the supplies:

6 pieces of paper – any type or color (we just used white computer paper)
Tape
Scissors
Stapler

Step 1: Fold and cut the paper into a triangle

It is easier to do 2 pieces at a time btw!

Repeat this step 2 more times for the other pieces of paper.
At the end, you should have 3 sets of 2 triangles!

Step 2: Fold each paper again into a triangle – do this one piece at a time

Once you fold it, cut four strips from the open end, don’t cut it all the way though!

It should look like this:

Repeat 5 more times until all the pieces of paper look like this:

Step 3: Open up each piece of paper (one at a time)

Fold the ends of the smallest section and use tape to tape it together.

It will look like this:

Continue taking each section, but every new section, flip the paper over.
Basically flip, fold and tape until you get to the last one.

It should look like this:

Repeat this 5 more times until all of them look like this:

Step 4: Put them together!
Take two of pieces and staple the top. Continue by adding another piece one at a time until you use them all up.

Once you finish, spread them out. Go to each side and staple the sides together.

AND VIOLA! You have your very own snowflake!

I hope you enjoyed this post!!! Be sure to check out my social medias on the right!
Thank you to Ava and Tori for helping me with this post!!!

Love, Kat
